About SDFI

The Sister Doctors Forum was founded on 5th June, 1993 during the National Convention of CHAI in Ernakulam. Today there are about 1000 Sister Doctors in India, serving in preventive, curative, and palliative care across rural and remote areas.

SDFI organizes regional and national initiatives — Save the Girl Child, cancer screening, anemia control, mother and child welfare, and more. Members collaborate with CHAI, CBCI Health Commission, and national health programmes.

The forum responds during natural calamities and works with partners such as Caritas India and CMMB for holistic healing ministry.

We look forward to welcoming you

Thank you for being part of SDFI AGBM 2026 — fellowship, learning, and shared mission.
